Obituary of Mary Gorbich

Mary Gorbich, 90, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, July 14th, at Geraldine Thompson Health Care Center, Wall, NJ. Mrs. Gorbich was born in Manville, NJ, and had lived in Farmingdale, NJ, before moving to Howell. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale. She was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of their United Methodist Women. Mrs. Gorbich was also a member of the Howell Seniors. She loved to do ceramics and enjoyed visits to Star Lake, NY, a Salvation Army Camp. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 2006 and her daughter, Carolyn Ann Gorbich, in 1962. She is survived by four sons, Robert Gorbich of Howell; Richard Gorbich and his wife, Connie of Quarryville, PA; Ronald Gorbich of Howell and Roger Gorbich and his wife, Cheryl of Twin Mountain, NH; one grandson: Darrell Gorbich and his wife, Michelle and two sisters, Helen Litwinetz of Cape May, NJ and Olga Piscadlo of Manville, NJ. Visiting at the Clayton &McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Sunday, July 18, 2010, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 19th, at the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, 8 Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ 07727. Interment to follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Church.
