Obituary of Janet Evanoff

Janet Evanoff, 70, of Howell Township passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at UMDNJ University Hospital, Newark. Janet was born, raised and lived in Jersey City. She had lived in Old Bridge for over 30 years before moving to Howell in 2009. Janet retired as a bookkeeper for Standard Confectionary, East Brunswick in 1995. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Evanoff, Sr. in 2009 and two brothers, Peter Lees and Clement Lees. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Joseph and Michele Evanoff, Jr.of Howell; two daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and John Musso of Howell; and Janet and Mike Yuhas of Old Bridge; five grandchildren: Hailee, Vincent, Mia, Michael-Alan, and Ryan; one brother, John W. Lees of MS; and three sisters: Anna Marie Trotter of PA, Katherine Rullo of DE and Helen Surdi of NJ. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 8:30 AM for her rite of committal followed by her 9:30 AM funeral mass at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, NJ. Interment is private.
