Obituary of Felix Marzulli
Felix "Phil" Marzulli (Felice Marzullo), 78, of Farmingdale passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 while on vacation in the town of his birth, Quaglietta, Province of Avellino, Italy. Phil emigrated to the United States in 1946 at the age of 14, settling to New York. Phil lived in Newark, East Orange, Carteret and Toms River before settling to Farmingdale in 1974.
He retired from New Departure Hyatt, Bearings Division of General Motors, Clark, after 30 years. In retirement, Phil owned and operated Jones Street Sportswear and Elsan Fashions.
He was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale and was a member of the Howell Senior Center. Mr. Marzulli was a former member of the Society Gioventu' Quaglietta, Astoria, NY. He was an avid Giants fan. Phil had a passion for his vegetable garden. He looked forward to deciding what and where to plant every Spring. Phil was a quiet and gentle man who possessed many wonderful qualities. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Being with family and friends was his greatest joy and made him so happy and proud. He would entertain all with his colorful and humorous stories and passionate political views.
