Obituary of Caroline Favilla
Caroline H. Favilla, 80, of Marlboro passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Favilla was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Sheepshead Bay, Staten Island and Old Bridge before moving to Marlboro in 1993. She retired in 1993 as an administrative assistant at the Cedar Ridge High School, Old Bridge after 24 years. Caroline was a parishioner of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Marlboro and a former parishioner of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Old Bridge.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph J. Favilla in 2009. Mrs. Favilla is survived by her son, Charles Favilla of Freehold Township; three daughters: Nancy Ahmed of Old Bridge; Elisa Nelson of Freehold Township and Carolyn Bentzinger of Boerne, TX; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Aiello of Winter Park, FL.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 8:45 AM for her rite of committal followed by her 10:00 AM funeral mass at St. Gabriel Historic Church, 549 Route 520, Marlboro. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
