Obituary of Gawril Sodbinow
Gawril Sodbinow, 78, of Sewell, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Turnersville. Mr. Sodbinow was born in Bolchoi-Orlow, Russia and had lived in North Brunswick, New Brunswick and Piscataway before moving to Sewell ten years ago. He was an HVAC Area Engineer for 18 years at Rutgers University, retiring in 1985. Gawril also was the former owner of Golden Limousine Service, Piscataway retiring in 2000. Mr. Sodbinow was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a former member of the American Legion, Sewell.
Mr. Sodbinow is survived by his wife, Odette Bembekoff Sodbinow of Sewell; one son, David Sodbinow of Princeton; three daughters, Christine Buvinow of Turnersville, Natalie Wong of Cedar Grove, and Jacqueline Pereborow of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.; Eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Claudia Kuchinow of New Brunwick and Isabel Amarhanow of Holmdel; and two brothers, Vladimir Sodbinow of Somerset and Sandscha Sodbinow of Piscataway.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 9:30 AM until his 10:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Gawril may be made to the Nistan Buddhist Temple, 186 West 6th Street, Howell, NJ 07731 or to the Kalmyck Mongolian Buddhist Center, 12 Kalmyck Road, Howell, NJ 07731.
