Obituary of Evelyn D'Orlando

Evelyn D'Orlando, 87, of Effort, PA, formerly of Freehold Township, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Mrs. D'Orlando was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Dunedin, FL, and Freehold Township before moving to Effort, PA. She was a School Bus Aide for the 21st Avenue Transportation Co., Brooklyn, NY, until her retirement. Mrs. D'Orlando was a former communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, and the Silvermead Community. Mrs. D'Orlando was predeceased by her husband, Louis, in 2002. She is survived by a son, John D'Orlando and his wife, Diane, of Freehold Township; a daughter, Esther Coppola and her husband, Nicholas, of Effort, PA; four grandchildren, Adam & Catherine Coppola and Louis and Annie D'Orlando and three great grandchildren. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Thursday and Friday, October 7th and 8th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 9th, at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Evelyn's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O.
