When I was younger, I remember Uncle Charlie as the uncle that loved all the girls, no matter what age, and had big bear hugs for all of them. As I grew up, I enjoyed just sitting and having conversation with my uncle. He loved to discuss anything. We talked about the constant yardwork that had to be tended to all the way to politics and world events. I really enjoyed getting to know him, more then just a big hug.

I will miss my Uncle Charlie hugs. I will miss talking with him. I am thankful for the wonderful memories of such a loving uncle.

As a kid growing up next to Uncle Charlie was great! No matter how many times you saw him he was always happy to see you and willing to give you one of those big bear hugs. As I grew older I still enjoyed the big bear hugs and will greatly miss him and them. Uncle Charlie was a wonderful person full of love and life and I am glad that he such a big part of my life.

I know that now you are up in Heaven with my Dad, just shooting the breeze, probably talking about the yankees or the time the Bat was up in Brian's bedroom.

You will be forever in my heart.
