Obituary of Yvonne Dixon

Yvonne M. Dixon, 72, of Lakewood passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Ceneter, New York. Mrs. Dixon was born in the Bronx, NY and had lived in Manalapan for thirty years before settling to Lakewood fourteen years ago. Until her retirement, she was an office manager for Dr. Hersch, Freehold for fifteen years. Yvonne was a member of the Four Seasons Bocci Club, Women's Club and was also a member of the Judiciary Committee. She was predeceased by her son, Todd Dixon in 1973. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Joseph Dixon of Lakewood; her son, Mort Dixon and his wife, Jodi of Freehold Township; her daughter, Abbe Jester and her husband, Tim of Oakhurst; and four grandchildren, Allison, Tara, Carli and Troy. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ precisely at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin section of Woodbridge. Kindly omit flowers.
