Obituary of Charlotte Halsey
Charlotte Halsey, 87, of Farmingdale passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Care One at Jackson. Mrs. Halsey was born in Farmingdale and was a life long resident, until moving to Wall in 1997, and then to Care One at Jackson. She was a waitress at Connie's Restaurant in Farmingdale for many years. Charlotte was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Southard, and a former member of the Farmingdale Fire Company Auxiliary. She was also a member of the U.S.O.
Mrs. Halsey was predeceased by her husband, Leonard C. Halsey in 1995. She is survived by her brother, Charles Woolley of Smyrna, DE; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor William A. Gaul officiating.
