Obituary of Anthony Graziano
Anthony "Rocky" J. Graziano, 84, died on Friday, November 12, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Rocky was born, raised and lived in Newark before moving to Union and then settling to Jackson in 2000. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was a Purple Heart Recipient. Rocky retired from the City of Newark Fire Department as a captain with thirty-three years of service.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Rocco and Dominic Graziano and a sister, Millie Sabatino. Rocky is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Antoinette Graziano; a son, John A. Graziano and his wife, Carolyn of Wesley Chapel, FL; a daughter, Annette Graybush and her husband, Stephen of Howell; two grandchildren, Anthony John Graybush and Matthew Joseph Graybush; a sister, Rose Piegaro of Toms River; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, November 15, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 9:00 AM followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
