Obituary of Dale Arter

Dale E. Arter, 85, of Neptune passed away on Wed., Nov. 17th at the Medicenter in Neptune City. He was born in Forty Fort, PA, and had lived in the shore area since 1959. He was a truck driver for Huffman-Koos, Eatontown, retiring in 1985. He also was a part-time driver for Brices Auto Supply, Neptune. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #177, Hillside, NJ. Mr. Arter was predeceased by his wife, Mearl, in 1997 and by a son, Richard Beverly. Surviving are 2 sons, James Dale Arter of PA and Robert Beverly and his wife, Jacqueline Hall, of Neptune; a daughter, Patricia H. Nielsen and her husband, John, of Manasquan; a brother, Willard Arter, Jr., of PA and a sister, Reta Getz of PA and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) on Fri., Nov. 19th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
