Obituary of Shirley Terito

Shirley A. Terito, 84, of Howell Township, NJ passed away at home on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Shirley was born and raised in the West Brighton section of Staten Island and had lived in the Todt Hill section and Brick, NJ before moving to Howell Twp. in 1998. She was the Supervisor of Environmental Services at the Clove Lakes Nursing Home for over twenty five years retiring in 1993. Shirley was a former parishioner of the Church of St. Teresa, Staten Island. She was a member of the Mother's Guild and was a den mother of the Boy Scouts, both of St. Teresa's. Shirley was a parishioner of The Church of St. Veronica, Howell Twp. and was a member of the Howell Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband, John Terito 2006 and a daughter, Joanne Terito in 2006. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Diane Hiller and her husband, Bill of Howell Twp, NJ; a son Russell Terito and his wife, Virginia of Staten Island, NY; seven grandchildren, Michael Nimlo and his wife, Jan, Keith Nimlo, Jennifer Terito, Stephanie Maggiore and her husband, Joseph, Gregory Hiller and his wife, Marissa, Megan Hiller, and Timothy Hiller. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 8:30 AM for the procession to the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Twp, NJ for her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass.
