Obituary of Jacqueline Portee

Jacqueline Portee, 58, of Howell passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at home. Mrs. Portee was born in Bayonne and had lived in Sayreville before settling to Howell twenty years ago. She was a registered nurse, who most recently worked for Millennium Eye Care, Freehold Township until her retirement in 2005. Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Paul Portee, Jr. of Howell; her son, Jason Portee of Staten Island; two daughters, Robin Franks of Freehold Township and Jennifer Portee of Howell; one granddaughter, Sarah; and two brothers, Jeffrey Platania and Thomas Platania, Jr. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 9:00 AM for her rite committal followed by her 10:00 AM funeral mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
