Obituary of Leonard Warren

Leonard J. Warren, 96, of Freehold, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at The Manor, Freehold. Leonard was born in Philadelphia, PA, was raised in Atlantic City, and had lived in Hillside before moving to Howell in 1966 and to The Villages in 1986. He was a 1941 graduate of Montclair State College. Leonard was a Court Reporter at the Monmouth County Courthouse. He was predeceased by his wife, Marcia, in 2002 and his son, Steven, in 2004. He is survived by his granddaughter, Alexandria Warren of Avenel, NJ; his daughter-in-law, Gina Warren, of Avenel, NJ and his dear friend, Ethel Ziff, of Freehold. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his graveside service at 2:30 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Routes 1 and 9, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leonard's name may be made to the MS Center at CentraState Medical Center, 916 Highway 33, Suite 6, Freehold, NJ 07728.
