Obituary of Richard Ferrara
Richard A. Ferrara, 78, of Toms River died on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Richard was born, raised, and had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Freehold and then settling to Toms River in 2007. He retired in 1995 as a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #707 for over 40 years, most recently working for Yellow Freight.
Richard was predeceased by his sister, Felicia Ragucci. He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Ferrara of Toms River; one son, Richard Ferrara and his wife, Janet of Sayreville; three daughters, Regina Coppola and her husband, Michael of Brooklyn, Lorraine Ferrara of Freehold, and Marisa Campos and her husband, John of Queens; two grandchildren, Dustin and Katira; and two brothers, Armando Ferrara of Floridia and William Ferrara of Long Island.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township, NJ on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 9:00 AM followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
