Condolences
I find myself thinking of our friend Paul, who left us far too soon in life.
So many in his State Park Service family continue to recall his smile, humor, intelligence and professionalism.
What a true measure of the man he was.
As I retire from the SPS, memories of our close friendship surround me with treasured memberances.
May he continue to Rest In Peace and his Resurrection instill comfort for Cyndie and his beloved family.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I worked as a seasonal in Trenton and although it's a few years later, I can still say he was my favorite boss! It was a joy to work for him. He will be greatly missed.
Dear Sedor Family, I was also saddened to hear about Paul's passing. I worked with him at Liberty State Park. He was a good, caring and dedicated boss. He will be missed. Maryann Wagner Fahey
We were deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. As long time neighbors, we know Paul enjoyed gardening and he always had the nicest yard on the Court. He will be missed. We send our sincerest condolences. Vince & Arlene (8 Tinker Ct.)
My deepest sympathies on your loss - I worked with Paul during my years of service here in the Trenton Office. He will be truly missed by me and all my coworkers. Peace be with you. Susan Schafer
Condolence to the family. I was sad to hear of Paul's passing. I will remember his big smile, his willness to help and at times his joking manner and most of all his love of his family. Even in his own illness he thought of others. Paul would make a point to call me and ask how my husband was doing with his illness (Paul and my husband become ill at the same time). His caring spirit for others has earned Paul his angel wings. Paul, you will truly be missed
I was sad to hear about Paul's passing. As a fellow Regional Superintendent, Paul was willing to help me out when I needed his help the most. I think that it is safe to say that Paul will be missed by his other peers as well. Thank you all for sharing Paul with us.
Dear Sedor Family, I wish to express my deepest sympathy for the lost of Paul. I have worked with Paul for years and will always remember his ready smile and encouraging words. He will truly be missed by all of us who knew him. I am usually not at a lost for words, but I find it hard to put into words what Paul has meant to myself and the others who have known and worked with him. I will miss and always remember him.
Dear Sedor family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and Paul. I'll always remember his genuine smile and dedication to the people of the NJ State Park Service. God bless. Bob Parichuk NJ State Park Service Northern Region Office
Everyone from Spring Meadow Golf Course sends our condolences to the Sedor family. Paul will be missed by everyone here.
To the Sedor Family, I worked with Paul while I was stationed at Spruce Run as Park Police Segeant. He always had time for my questions and always returned my phone calls(which is a rare thing for the Trenton Staff). Paul had a true concern for people which showed when he spoke to you one on one or in front of a group. He was not short on words and he could explain things making sure you understood, even if you did not want to. Even though he never stopped moving being always busy he was never to busy for you at that moment you needed help. He would stop everything else and would be focused with tackling your question. Your husband and father was a example of our Lord in giving to others with his whole heart showing true love with his time and human compassion for others. He will be greatly missed. I was blessed to know him and know I will see him again in the kingdom the Lord has prepared us.
Sedor Family, You are in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time. Paul's kindness, caring and humor will be remembered and missed. Sincerely, The staff at Worthington and Jenny Jump State Forest.
Cyndy and family - My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. I have many fond memories of my years working for Paul. When I retired from my full time position working for Paul, I was only retired one month (I enjoyed working for him so much that I returned as a "seasonal" just so I could help out for awhile which has lasted 3 years.) He always made going to work a pleasure which is one of reasons I was unable to give it up until this past November. Paul was a great listener (except for when I wanted to talk about the Phillies) and had a great sense of humor. He was very dedicated to his job (and his Yankees and NY Giants) and went way above and beyond what he had to do. He was always ready and willing to help anyone who needed it. There was always a sparkle in his eye when he shared his stories about his family and the times he spent with all of you, especially the trips when you went crabbing, the cigar smoking and his Grey Goose. He was so very proud of all of you and all your accomplishments. I really cannot put into words how blessed I feel and how thankful I am for having had the opportunity to work with Paul and call him my friend. He was brave, courageous, kind, considerate and a very compassionate individual. The stars will shine much brighter now because of Paul's presence in heaven. We all now have a special guardian angel watching over us. We will miss you.
Cyndy and Children is with great sadness that I have heard of Paul's passing. Our many years together with the State was only a small piece of the friendship that we built. Paul was a trusting soul, a friend to all, easy with a smile and even in the worst of times always ready with a positive word. As life passes us by, it is people like Paul you want to spend more time with...he will be missed by all. Please remember: We live a story that we didn't write, we are where we are because that is where we are supposed to be and in the end we only want people to say that we were a good person...Paul was a Good Person. May he rest in peace.
Love you and miss you, Uncle Paul! Rest in Peace.
To Paul's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Such wonderful words have been shared about Paul from his co workers on this page, and I echo them as well. I had the pleasure of working with Paul from the field for the last 11 years. He was such a busy man but would always take time for a phone call from me when I had a question about budgets, money, etc. These phone calls would not end without Paul asking about my family and telling me something about his; he was such a proud father. The State Park Service has lost a hero and I will miss him very much. May your memories bring you some happiness during this very sad time and may you know that Paul is shining his love down on all of us. Sincerely, Rebecca Fitzgerald
I am thankful to have been hired by Paul into the staff of the Shore Region Office - my best job EVER! (Thanks Paul). Fair, fun, funny, and a great person to work for, Paul gave me my nickname, shared a love of the Yankees, and was always proud when he remembered my son's name (whom he met when he was but days old.) Kind-hearted, considerate, dedicated and great-natured Paul has left us far too soon and we shall miss him dearly. Our condolences to the Sedor family, from Diane, John and Iain Lowrie
Cyndie,Jeff,Brian, and Melissa, We are very saddened by your loss and the world is a little less bright today. We know these can be trying times, but there are alot of great memories and stories that can help during this time. Having known Paul for over 20 years, I always knew he was there to help me, and as one of "his" superintendents, I needed it more than most. Well, I think he's still here, to help me, and laugh with me, and help remind me why I get up each morning! So to quote one of his favorite movies: "BINGO"! With much love and prayer Shari Ohringer and Chuck Sary
Dear Cyndie and Family- It is with great sadness that I express my sincere condolences to you & your family. I worked with Paul for over 22 years at Parks & Forestry and never met a more caring, dedicated and professional man. After I retired, we continued our friendship through many a frustrating golf game, which we both learned to laugh out loud at ourselves. Please take care may your family's fond memories of Paul as a husband, father and friend help you through these difficult times. Carl Nordstrom
It is with a sad heart that I send my prayers and condolences to you and your children. I am a co worker of Paul's and wanted to let you know how much I admired him, and the patience he showed when things weren't going the way planned, which often happended. He never raised his voice or spoke an ill word to a anyone. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.
Cindy and family. Arrived to NJ from Florida only to hear about the passing of Paul. After working with Paul for many, many years and not seeing him for almost ten years, I was happy I had the pleasure of spending time with him again, at a recent retirement party. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Debbie Voelbel, NJDEP-Bureau of Coastal Engineering
Worked with Paul briefly this summer on the same floor at 501 E. State St. He complemented me on my Poster Photograph, I thought that was very nice of him. God Bless, Officer Earl A Moir
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. He was one of the greatest Yankee fans of all time. Ill always remember chatting about the games with him. He always knew how to make me smile! Ill miss him. Michelle
It is with great sadness that I pass on my condolenses to you. As a co-worker from DEP working with Paul has been an enjoyable experience. He was not only a knowledge man - he was a kind man who will be greatly missed. I'm truly sorry for your loss - Diane Ogonofski
I was so saddened to hear of Paul's illness and passing. As a field historian at D & R Canal State Park, our paths did not cross often but when they did, Paul was always cheerful and pleasant. That always meant a lot to me. My thoughts are with Paul's family during this difficult time. Know that he will be missed and remembered fondly by many.
Dear Cindy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It was my greatest honor working with Paul at the Division of Parks and Forestry. He and I bonded over some crazy times at work. Paul always kept his sense of humor and dignity. I know I do not have to tell you this, but he was a man of character and will be greatly missed by so many. Please take care and may your lasting memories of your husband, father and son help you through this very sad time. Robin Madden
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Paul for a number of years, and he was one of the hardest workers I ever met. When I was sick, Paul was supportive of me thru my illness.
