Condolences
one thing i remember my spending days with nana is that every family event ..i woluld go straight to her room and ask her in ilocano "what are you watching" and she would point out chuck norris on tv and starts bursting out laughing with her pajamas on. and i would always tell her " nana you are addicted to this show" and she would laugh with me.
My most memorable hug with Nana was one weekend I came home from St. John's. I had just gotten home and Nana was in the kitchen when she saw me walking upstairs with all my stuff. She realized it was me and in Ilocano said "oh, you're here barok? come, come give me a huh." I smiled, dropped all my stuff, quickly walked up to her and give her a big, long hug. I couldn't have been happier.
Having dinner with mom in New Orleans waiting to go on board the Carnival Conquest for our family reunion cruise in 2005 with family and friends. This was so memorable for a week out in the ocean having fun and when it's time to return to New Orleans we were cruising and racing with hurricane Katrina to reach New Orleans but Katrina was too fast and dangerous so we end up in Galveston, Texas instead.
To the Bugarin Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. And to you Nana, thanks for the memories, you are in a better place now, with the Lord.. Rest in Peace.
TO ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS-IN-LAW; Due to my present physical challenges I cannot personally come to pay my last respect to Nana. I am very sorry. My thoughts and prayers are always with you. Nana has been a very good mother to me and my family. We will always cheriish and appreciate the days that Nana, Ama and the rest of the family stayed with us in Hawaii. Thanks to Nana for taking good care of our boys who were very young then. GOODBYE NANA. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.
