Dear Mr and Mrs Bates and Family; I had the pleasure of working with JoAnne at the Dover Post Office when she was starting out in the company. In fact I had the opportunity to meet you at a party through the Post Office she was having. I knew her and went to school with Hiram and his sister as well. JoAnne was a wonderful person who had a great sense of humor and loved people. She was caring both for her family and friends and co-workers. If she thought she could help she would until she could no more. I still am at the Post Office in Dover (Main Office). Please know that all of us who still work here and who had the pleasure of knowing JoAnne and working with her are all shocked by this and all of us send our deepest sympathy and condolences to you. I am sure you know that although this is a tremendous loss for you, that JoAnne is in a better place where there is no more crying, no more pain and suffering only happiness. I know she is with all of her loved ones who have gone before her and will wait for all of us to come when Almighty God calls us back home to him. Joanne, Words will never express the love that I have for you. Your are the most beautiful, strong & caring person I have every known. I am so blessed to have had you in my life and the honor to have you as family. You brought so much happiness to our lives. Your humor, your kindness, your thoughtful ways proved to me you were no less than an angel. You served you purpose here, you showed us all how a person should be. You are in heaven with all of gods Angel's and theta is truly where you belong. You will be thought of everyday by so many, and your spirit will live among us in all that we do.
