Obituary of Wanda Barry
Wanda Barry, 97, of Freehold Twp. passed away at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp. on Friday, February 25, 2011. Mrs. Barry was born in Jersey City and had lived there moving to Freehold Twp. five years ago.
Mrs. Barry was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Twp. She was a former parishioner and member of the Rosary-Altar Society of St. Paul of the Cross Church and St. Ann's Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and she volunteered at St. Joseph's Home for the Blind, all in Jersey City.
She was predeceased by her husband, James W. in 1981; a Son, James J., in 2005 and a daughter, Joan A. Thompson in 1984. Mrs. Barry is survived by a son, Robert P. Barry of Freehold Twp., 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Sunday, February 27th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:00 AM on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ.
