Obituary of Louis Spano
Louis "Lou" P. Spano, 76, of Howell was graciously taken by his Heavenly Father to be reunited with his wife, Barbara. Lou was born in Hoboken and had lived in Old Bridge and Cliffwood Beach before moving to Howell in 1970. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea. Lou was employed with Interpace Corp until he, together with a partner, formed Precast Products of East Brunswick in the 1980's. Lou's comical humor could certainly bring a chuckle to anyone's face and he used his gift of comedy to lift the spirits of those around him. Always routinely bringing his grandchildren surprises, they will always cherish their memories of Pop-Pop. He was a friend to animals and will be missed by his companion, Cocoa, as well as his "Granddogs", Maddie and Maxine.
Lou is lovingly remembered by his daughters; Deneen Spano of Neptune, Darlene Riggio and her husband, Robert, of Toms River and Dawn Casasnovas and her husband, Tony, of Toms River; grandchildren, Amber Dawn and Robert Louis Riggio; a sister, Frances Colonna of Plainsboro; and many nieces and nephews.
