Obituary of Ruth Clausen
Ruth Clausen, 85, of Wall Twp. passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Waterford Glen Health Care, Wall Twp. Miss Clausen was born in South Hackensack and had lived in Adelphia before moving to Wall in 2006. She was a bookkeeper for Suburban Propane, Howell, for over 30 years. She was a 1943 graduate of Freehold High School. Miss Clausen was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold, and a former parishioner and member of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Veronica Catholic Church, Howell. She was a former member of the Freehold Art Society and the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Miss Clausen was predeceased by a sister, Muriel Sacchi; niece, Mary Ann Freeman and great nephew, Andrew Freeman. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Milton Sacchi, of Brick Twp., 2 nieces, Linda Neaves and her husband, Bill, of Wall Twp. and Carolyn Michielutti, and her husband, Robert, of St. Claire Shores, Michigan; 4 grand nieces and 4 grand nephews.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., on Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2011, at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp.
