Obituary of Robert Di Certo
Robert "Bob" L. Di Certo, 66, of Freehold Township passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Bob was born in Winter Park, Florida and was raised in Norwood, New Jersey before settling to Freehold Township in 1977. Bob was the owner of Di Certo Stables where he trained harness racing horses. His most notable horse was Tsunami Hanover. Bob was avid fisherman and a great card and pool player. He enjoyed traveling to find that little out of the way place with the best foods. Bob was a milk shake connoisseur but his true love was his family.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Margaret Di Certo. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Di Certo; three daughters, Renee Di Gregorio and her husband, Gary of Freehold, Kristen Di Certo of Bayonne, and Janis Di Certo of Old Bridge; two grand children, Peyton and Travis.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:30 PM. Interment will be private.
