Obituary of Angelo Mercadante

Angelo J. Mercadante, 82, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011, at CareOne At Jackson. Mr. Mercadante was born in South Orange and had lived in Caldwell and Montville before moving to Freehold. He was a Buildings and Grounds Supervisor for the Caldwell Board of Education. Mr. Mercadante was predeceased by his wife, June; a granddaughter, Alyssa, and a great granddaughter, Abigail June Mariano. He is survived by a son, David Mercadante, and his wife, Joanne, of Freehold Township and 2 grandchildren, Nicole Mariano and her husband, Matthew, of Freehold Township and Leanne Mercadente of Freehold Township. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall Twp., NJ.
