Obituary of Viola Coscia
Viola Coscia, 85, of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Monmouth Medical Center. Viola was born in New York City and lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn before moving to Howell in 1991. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale, and a member of the Surrey Downs Seniors. Viola was a homemaker.
Viola was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Coscia in 2008 and by her grandson, Steven Nikitopoulos in 1998. She is survived by three sons, Dom Coscia and his wife, Apryl, of Hedgesville, WV, Gerry Coscia and his wife, Maureen, of Manalapan, and Joseph Coscia and his wife, Nancy, of Scarsdale, NY; five daughters, Loretta Agosta and her husband, John, of Hazlet, Angela Nikitopoulos and her husband, Jim, of Marlboro, Dolores Menken and her husband, Frank, of Manchester, Grace Kittel and her husband, Andy, of Iselin, and Clare Allen of Staten Island, NY; sixteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter, Liliana; and two sisters, Gloria Esposito of Bronx, NY and Sister Bianca of Garrison, NY.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena CHAPEL, Main Street, Farmingdale. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. Wm.
