Obituary of Arlene DeMartino

Arlene L. DeMartino, 78, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Van Dyke Hospice at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. DeMartino was born in Jersey City and had lived in Bayonne for over 53 years before moving to Toms River 5 years ago. She was a former parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church and a graduate of Snyder High School, both in Jersey City. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaetano (Guy), in 2010; a son, Thomas Michael DeMartino; two sisters, Jean Sudzuk and Joan Spath. She is survived by two daughters, Carolann Arnouil and her husband, Robert, of Howell and Kathleen A.M. DeMartino of Toms River; three grandchildren, Ashley L. Arnouil, Amber A. Arnouil and Jennifer Cain; a nephew and several nieces and cousins. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery, Colonia.
