Obituary of Kathleen Ernst

Kathleen A. Ernst, 92, of Farmingdale passed away on Tuesday, May 24, at home. Mrs. Ernst was born in Orange, CT, and had lived in Cheltenham, PA, and Livingston, NJ, before moving to Farmingdale in 1962. Until her retirement in 1997, Mrs. Ernst was a Vice President and Treasurer of Eugene Ernst Products Company, Farmingdale, NJ. She was a 1938 graduate of the Emilie - Krider - Norris School of Drama, Philadelphia. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Anton William Ernst, Sr., in 2003, and her sister, Claire Colline. Mrs. Ernst is survived by three sons, Eugene A. W. Ernst, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen S., of Blairstown, NJ, John A. Ernst of Manchester and Rodger P. Ernst and his wife, Laurie H., of Cream Ridge, NJ; two daughters, Kathleen A. Wickham and her husband, Spencer, of Wall and Janet McCoid and her husband, Richard, of Spring Lake; six grandchildren, Leslie, Eric, Lorrie, Meredith, Jean Marie and Robert; six great grandchildren, Anthony, Kalixta, Sarah, Bernie III, Aaron and Kayla. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Friday, May 27, 2011, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
