Obituary of Joan Prusinski
Joan A. Prusinski, 83, of Millstone Township died at her residence Thursday, August 30, 2012. She was born in Scranton, PA and a longtime resident of Bloomfield, NJ. She recently lived in Monroe Township before moving in with her daughter in Millstone Township. Before her retirement, she was a secretary for Rutgers University at Newark. Joan was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. She loved to laugh and had a memorable smile. Joan was a loving mother and a devoted wife.
Joan is survived by her husband, Paul Prusinski; three daughters, Mary and her husband Joseph Beckish of Millstone Township; Ellen Pawlikowski of San Pedro, CA; and Joan and her husband Lenny Recupero of Chesterfield, VA; four granddaughters, Jennifer and Laura Pawlikowski, Kathleen Figurelli and Brielle Recupero. Joan was the last surviving sibling of five children.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Her funeral mass will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.
