Pina, You have no idea how much I miss you, I never got to say goodbye, but now I Say hello each time I look at the sky - you never knew how much strength you gave us all in hard times and how you made the good times even better, I miss your expressions, your smile and your loving ways, your patience and all the things we used to do. The small things that now seem huge. You were and always will be an exceptional mother, Wife and Grandmother, now you look after us from a different vantage point. We feel pain and suffering in a different way, each second feels like an entire day - but in the midst we stop and realize you walk in paradise with all the loved ones you once missed, free from the binds of breathing tubes and that horrid breathing mask. No more pain, only eternal sunshine without the thunder or the rain. Pina I miss you so much and I give you my word that I will make good on the covenant I made with you, and that I will look after Toni, Gabriella and Gino. Your always cherished and always in my heart. Its going to be near impossible without you, but I know you will give us the strength to take each day as it comes.
