Obituary of Nickolas Landsberg

Nickolas Landsberg, 66, of Howell passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp. Nick was born in Munich, Germany and had lived in New York City and Lakewood before settling to Howell in 1984. He was a civil engineer and systems analyst for Alcatel-Lucent, Middletown retiring in 2006. Nick received his master degree in civil engineer from City College of New York. He served in the ROTC at college and in the New York Army Reserve. Nick was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Church and member of the Rodina Society. Nickolas is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Landsberg; two daughters, Anna Lukianov and her husband, Nicholas of Howell; Katherine Landsberg and her husband, Nicholas Breschnev of River Forest, Illinois; three granddaughters, Marina, Sophia, and Tania; a brother, Paul Landsberg of Tampa, Florida; and a cousin, Alexander Jacobs of East Hanover. Panyhida will be at St. Alexander Nevsky R. O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Ave., Howell on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's R.O. Cemetery, Jackson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions, in memory of Nick may be made to the St. Tikhvin Restoration Fund, 200 Alexander Ave., Howell, NJ 07731.
