Obituary of Robert Kornafel

Robert P. Kornafel, 79, of Freehold Township passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center. Robert was born, raised , and had lived in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Elizabeth, New Jersey and then settling to Freehold Township in 1962. He was a Regional Sales Manager for D. A. Stuart, Chicago for over forty years until his retirement. Robert is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Olga; a son, James Kornafel of Freehold Township; a daughter, Kathryn Kornafel of Monmouth Beach; a sister, Elaine Kornafel of Darien, Illinois; and a nephew, Kenneth Kornafel of Downers Grove, Illinois. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 8:30 AM followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Saints Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 76 Whitehead Avenue, South River, NJ 08882.
