Obituary of Michael Ryan

Michael G. Ryan, 61, of Farmingdale passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at home. Michael was born in The Commons Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland and came to the U.S. in 1970 settling in the Bronx before moving to Lyndhurst, NJ and then to Farmingdale, NJ in 1989. He was the owner, along with his wife and sons, of Environmental Technical Drilling. Michael was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale. He had passion for music and dance. Michael loved his loved his family and was proud of his grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Tom and four sisters, Theresa, Josephine, Patricia & Bridget. Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anne; two sons, Michael Ryan, Jr. and his wife, Carol of Toms River and Sean Ryan and his wife, Sarah of Farmingdale; a daughter, Cathy Ryan and her companion, Thomas Stamper of Farmingdale; six grandchildren, Madeleine, Megan, Joseph, Olivia, Brody, & Katelyn; two brothers, John & Martin Ryan of Ireland; and three sisters, Anne Ryan of NY, Eileen Ryan of Ireland & Madeline FitzPatrick of Ireland. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 9:00 AM followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale, NJ.
