Obituary of Florence Burdge

Florence L. Burdge, 84, of Howell Twp. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 31, 2012. Florence was born in Freehold and was a lifelong area resident. She was a lead at Air Cruisers for twenty-five years retiring in 1991. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Paul N. Burdge, Sr. in 1983 and a son-in-law, Robert Johnson in 2011. She is survived by her son, Paul N. Burdge, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Howell; a daughter, Gail Johnson of Howell; six grandchildren, Jean Tirone and her husband, Jerry, Robert Johnson and his wife, Gina, Paul Jason Burdge and his wife, Debbie, Kelly Burdge, Jarrod Burdge, and Ryan Burdge; six great grandchildren, Amy, Daniel, Richard, Christopher, Jake, and Rachel; her beloved best friend, Evelyn Errickson; and her loving feline companion, Sam. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 with the Rev. Thomas Detamore, officiating.
