Obituary of Mary Frances Layton

Mary Frances Layton, 97, of Jackson passed away on August 16, 2011, at Ocean County Medical Center at Brick. Mrs. Layton was born in Como, NJ, and had lived in Brick Twp. and Barnegat before moving to Jackson. She was a Food Packager for Rokeach Company, Farmingdale, NJ, for 25 years retiring in 1976. Mrs. Layton was predeceased by a granddaughter, Donna Ann Mauser. She is survived by a Son, Elmer E. Layton, Jr. of Lakewood; three Daughters, Leona Hartman of Barnegat, Virginia Mae Moore of Charleston, SC and MaryLou Mauser of Matawan; 9 grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson, Chase. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., on Monday, August 22, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery, Wyckoff Road, Adelphia, NJ.
