Obituary of Ann Grimes

Ann T. Grimes, 85, of Jamesburg passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Brandywine, Howell, NJ. Mrs. Grimes was born in Brooklyn and had lived there until moving to Jamesburg in 1987. She was a secretary for Chemical Bank, New York City, for 10 years retiring in 1987. Mrs. Grimes was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Jamesburg. She was also a member of the Emerald Society and the Ladies Golf Club both of Rossmoor. Mrs. Grimes was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1996; her son, Kevin, in 1994; four brothers and a sister. She is survived by two daughters, Beth O'Hagan and her husband, James, of Marlboro and Patty Hardardt and her husband, Mark, of Sudbury, Mass.; a son, Christopher Grimes and his wife, Denise, of Howell; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Grimes, of Mad River, CA; 13 grandchildren, Erin and her husband, Taylor, Caitlin, Lauren, Matt, Kurt, Erik, Sean, John and his wife, Emily, Kathleen, Grace, Christian, Ester and Mercy and a great granddaughter, Alexa. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Friday, August 19, 2011, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell, NJ.
