Condolences
I think of Ralph quite often. It reminds me of how short and precious life really is. I regret that I didn't take time to see Ralph more often. I met Ralph when we were 10 years old. We played for the Neptune Twp. Dodgers coached by Fred Bounocore. I spent four years with him sitting at the same lab table in our homeroom B-30 at Neptune High School. He was one of the only people that could get in my face and make me laugh. He played a great piano and was quite the entrepenure. When we were 13 or 14 he was selling christmas trees that his father helped him get for spending money. He had a band called the "Continental Orchestra" that played out. I can't tell you how cool of a guy Ralph really was. I know that I will always think the world of and love Ralphie. I could go on and on. All my love to his family and loved ones. Sebby Graziano
I met Ralph a million years ago in Toms River, NJ. where he had a small office and he started doing my tax returns (actually I should say ours) my wife Barbara was included too. Then he moved to Point Pleasant NJ and from there to Farmingdale, NJ where I last saw him face to face in 1985 when I was on the road. That was the last time I saw him. My wife and I moved to NH in 1985 and Ralph continued as our tax accountant. Throughout the years we did speak to each other via phone especially around tax season. I tried to lure Ralph and Sheila up to NH, telling him that we had some great eating places ( Ralph did like his food) to no avail. We did have a lot of banter as to the pros and cons but he loved NJ. Mission was unaccomplished. So it was with sadness that we recently learned that Ralph had passed. I not only lost an excellent accountant but a friend. He will be missed. Stuart A. Smith
I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
I would like to tell a story that I was lucky to share with Ralph. I was 11 years old. Things were tough in my life for some time. I had just started to get to know Ralph who would later become my Dad. It was a Friday night. My mom was at work. It was me,Dad,brother Sean. Ralph had this plan to record a message on our machine on the house phone. Ralph came up with the words. Dad was really good at music. So we recorded this message. And in the back while we were talking was Micheal Jacksons beat it playing. The words went like this.. " This is Chris And Ralph. We are 2 cool dudes from rustic drive. Leave a message or Beat it!! " At this point we were laughing and the phone rings and the message goes off. I can say that I don't think I laugh that hard before. And for years after that. Dad helped show me how to let go. Be a kid. And thats what Ralph was a big kid. Great cook!! And knowing that that smile is gone hurts the most. But makes me laugh just thinking about it. I look forward to seeing that smile again someday!! Chris
Ralph was not only my boss, he was my friend. He was the easiest man to work for. He went above and beyond all the time. He had a very kind nature about him and when we weren't working we were always laughing (even when we were working we were always laughing.) His clients loved him and he loved them. This is who Ralph was. His clients would come in to talk about taxes and stay to chat about everything from football to stocks. I used to tease him that his business card should say professional friend. He was always talking about his family. His love and adoration for Sheila was immeasurable. I will miss you very much Ralph. Until we meet again, Nicole
I would just like to say you will be missed. We shared a lab table in Homeroom B-30 for four years at Neptune High School. I can't tell you the laughs and cutting up we used to do. Especially the nick names Ralph used to give to everyone. Also Ralphie was one of the best piano players I ever knew. He had a 1000 song fake book he used to make me read at homeroom period. He was always talking about how many songs he could play because of that book. We used to practice in the living room of my parents house in Neptune City. I'll see you again some day Ralph. Love, your pal Sebby
Sheila and family: May the clouds fade away quickly and the sunshine warm your heart once again. Pat and Bill
