Obituary of Blanche Mitchell

Blanche H. Mitchell, 90, of Freehold, formerly of Farmingdale, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Monmouth Crossing. Blanche was born in Jersey City and had been a long term resident of Farmingdale. She most recently resided at Monmouth Crossing, Freehold. Blanche was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Farmingdale. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Molly Pitcher Chapter, #198 and Wall Chapter, #143. Blanche was a former Grand Officer for the Molly Pitcher Chapter. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Mitchell and her parents, James and Mary Hollywood. She is survived by her sister, Jessie Bergstom of Port St. Lucie, FL and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, 8 Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ at the convenience of the family.
