Obituary of Gloria Combs

Gloria M. Combs, 77, of Whiting, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Gloria was born and raised in East Brunswick and had lived in Old Bridge, Jackson, Manalapan and Browns Mills before settling in Whiting in 1989. She was a homemaker. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Richard Combs and a brother, Kenneth H. Schenck. She is survived by a son, Richard Combs of Longhorn, PA; five daughters, Alice Volkens and her husband, Thomas of Jackson, Sheri Combs of Little Egg Harbor, Gail Thompson and her husband, Donald of Gold Hill, NC, Kathy Jarolim of Sayreville and Dianne Hartley of Mercer, PA; a brother, Robert H. Schenck of Wyoming; a sister, Shirley O'Carroll of Texas; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
