Obituary of Anna Astone

Anna V. Astone, 91, of Farmingdale, passed away at Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center, Wall Twp. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Mrs. Astone was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Cliffwood Beach before moving to Farmingdale in 1971. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Sabato, five brothers, John, Michael, Frank, Fred and Raymond Giantomenico and a sister, Helen Giantomenico. Mrs. Astone is survived by two daughters, Ronnie Dige and her husband, John, of Farmingdale, and Dolores DiSomma of Helmetta; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, David Giantomenico of Brick. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:00 AM on Friday, September 9, 2011, at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, North Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ.
