Obituary of Peter DiPaolo

Peter R. DiPaolo, 78, of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at home. Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived there, Staten Island and Sayreville before settling to Jackson in 1998. He was a Supervisor in the Graphics Department for Ernst & Young, Manhattan for over 30 years, retiring in 1997. Peter served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Annette DiPaolo; a son, Anthony DiPaolo of Freehold; three granddaughters, Cassandra, Kathryn and Rachel; and a sister, Phyllis Sammis and her husband, Ted of Wilmington, NC. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relative and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 8:15 AM followed by his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson.
