Obituary of Jason Carrell
Jason Carrell, 40, of Jackson passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was born in Pittsburgh and lived in Freehold Township before settling in Jackson in 2014. Jason owned Primo Built Gym in Long Branch. He played for the Black Sox men’s softball team and was a sports fan whose favorite teams included the Yankees, Rangers and Jets. Known for his smile, Jason possessed a loyal love for life. He cared for, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his father, Gary Carrell in 1981; his mother, Jacqueline Carrell in 2013; and his brother, Mark Carrell in 2012. Jason is survived by his wife of four years, Beth Carrell; and his two incredible boys, Justin and Derek.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 12:30 PM graveside service on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Maplewood Cemetery, 169 West Main Street, Freehold Township.
