Obituary of Laura Panagos
Laura Ann Panagos, 74, of Jackson passed away at Leisure Chateau in Lakewood on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Laura was born and raised in Brooklyn and settled in Jackson in 1973. She was a Certified Medical Assistant at Leisure Park, Lakewood for over ten years. A hard-working caregiver, Laura endured many sleepless nights to provide for her children. She was a great mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and a very special friend with a witty personality. Laura loved Cape Cod and volunteered her time with the Jackson First Aid Squad. It was an honor to know her and she will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Panagos in 1995. Laura is survived by her children, Stefanie Ramos and her husband, Richard of Freehold Township, Dino Panagos and his wife, Quinn of Toms River, Laura Marie Brown and her husband, Samuel of Toms River, and George Panagos and his wife, Rebekah of Browns Mills; her grandchildren, Christopher, Dino, Jr., Demetrius, Georgia, Abigail, Gavin and Lila; her brothers, Charles Paskewitz of New Bedford, MA, and John Paskewitz and his wife, Anne of East Elmhurst, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
