Obituary of Urszula Jansen

Urszula Jansen, 79, of Howell passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Urszula was born and raised in Poland, and immigrated to the United States when she was 26, settling in The Bronx.  She also lived in Brooklyn before taking up residence in Howell in 2003.  Urszula enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and shopping.  More than anything, she loved taking care of her grandson. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Jansen in 1996.  Urszula is survived by her daughter, Teresa Jansen; and her grandson, Alex Safara, both of Howell. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM at the funeral home on Friday, September 22, 2017 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
