Obituary of Audrey M. Fanok

Audrey M. Fanok, 84, of Jackson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens Care Center, Freehold Township.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois and had lived in Sayreville before moving to Jackson in 2014.  Audrey worked as a teacher for the Kansas City, Missouri public school system.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Anton Fanok in 1993; father, Wilson D. McLean in 1971; mother, Susan McLean in 1981; and brother, James D. McLean in 2005.  She is survived by her children, Lynn A. Fanok of Newtown, PA, Susan E. Fanok of Milltown, and John Fanok and wife, Diane of Jackson; and granddaughters, Samantha Fanok and Stephanie Fanok, both of Jackson.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.  A visitation will be held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with her funeral service at 5:30 PM.  Interment will be on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:45 AM in Washington Monumental Cemetery, 45 Hillside Avenue, South River.  For information and directions, visit www.hasslerfuneralhome.com.
