Obituary of Chester Swistock
Chester R. Swistock, 78, of Bayville passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Meridian Sub acute Rehabilitation Center, Wall. Chester was born in Moran, PA and was raised in Chesterfield, PA and had lived in Elizabeth, Old Bridge, Howell, Freehold, and Toms River before moving to Bayville in 2012. He was a salesman for Whelan Pontiac, Freehold, retiring in 1997. Chester was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid golfer, was a horse racing fan that enjoyed the Freehold Raceway and loved trips to Atlantic City.
Chester was predeceased by his wife, Nancy in 2008. He is survived by three sons, Patrick Gagliano and his wife, Maria of Freehold, John Gagliano and his wife, Francine of Howell and Keith Swistock and his wife, Lisa of Bayville; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Brooke, Nino, Gianna, Theresa, Anthony, Christina, Vanessa and Keith; a sister, Marcy Angelou of Warren; his mother-in-law, Delores Rosener of Largo, FL; a sister-in-law, Diane Modsrezecki and her husband, Ted of Lanoka Harbor; two brothers-in-law, Brian Rosener and his wife, Leah of Linden and Glenn Rosener of Largo, FL; two nephews, James Angelou and Peter Angelou; and a niece, Susan Esbensen.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 8:30 AM for the procession to The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell for his 9:30 AM funeral service. Inurnment will be at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown at the convenience of the family.
