Obituary of Lydia Tengelsen
Lydia Tengelsen, age 90 of Naperville, formerly of Chicago and New Jersey, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Tabor Hills Nursing Home. She was born on June 20, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. Cherished wife of her late first husband, Walter Klujko and her second husband, Ralph Tengelsen. Beloved mother of Walter V. Klujko of Naperville. Fond sister of the late John Shamka, Luba Gousis, and Walter Siderowitz. Lydia retired from Bell Laboratory after 20 years, working as a laboratory technical assistant. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church of Joliet. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Member of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island Foundation and Special Olympics volunteer. Fund raiser, contributor and bell ringer for the Salvation Army. Lydia enjoyed bowling, gardening and singing in choir. Visitation and services are private in Naperville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, NJ 08527.
