Obituary of Leone Wilson

Leone Louquet Wilson, 93, of Freehold passed away at home on September 10, 2012. Leone was born and raised in Freehold and had lived in Jackson before moving back to Freehold. She was a 1937 graduate of Freehold High School. Leone was an outstanding artist and received a scholarship from the Freehold Woman's Club to attend the School of Industrial Arts, Trenton. Over the years she had many jobs to help raise her family but working at McGraw-Hill was her favorite. Leone was predeceased by her husband, James C. Wilson, Sr.; three grandsons; a granddaughter, three brothers; and a sister. She is survived by a son, James C. Wilson, Jr.; nine daughters, Nancy Coleman, Suzanne Barth, Jean Riedesel, Linda Coxon, Ellen Guthrie, Kathy Pardi, Deborah Kuncken, Rosemary Wilson, and Amy Carney; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; a great great grandson; a brother, Fred Louquet; two sisters, Alice Crawford and Virginia Gillispie; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
