Obituary of Mary Pallotto
Mary Pallotto, 88, of Freehold, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at The Manor, Freehold Township. She was born, raised and lived her whole life in Brooklyn before moving to Freehold in 2004 to be near her daughters. A true Italian mother, Mary lived for her family and to cook. Most notably, “Mary’s Pizzelles” which were a holiday staple.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, John Pallotto in 1981 and her sister, Anna Madia in 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Shaw and her husband, Robert of Howell, and Susan Giannone and her husband, Robert of Howell; five grandchildren, Jennifer Mary Zodda and her husband, Jeffrey of Hamilton, Brian Shaw and his wife, Samantha of Oaklyn, Christine Shaw of Howell, Kristen Gilde and her husband, Kyle of Howell, and John Giannone of Howell; three great granddaughters, Violet, Lily and Scarlett; a sister, Virginia Russo of Allentown; and four nieces and nephews, Judi Cyran and her husband, Dan of Syosset, NY, Michael Madia and his wife, Terri of Monmouth Junction, Michael Russo and his wife, MaryAnn of Freehold, and Stephanie Marques of Allentown; and her devoted caregiver and dear friend, Natalya .
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the funeral home. A private family burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
