Condolences
Mitch was a great guy and a real friend in our Marinwood days. He will be missed by all of those who knew him.
Sincerest condolences to the family of and those close to Mitch.
I attended high school with Mitch and knew him to be a real nice guy. We played sports together and he always took his role and assignments with pride and determination.
He is remembered.

Mitch grew up up the street from me on Heatherstone Drve in Marinwood. RIP Mitch we had fun growing up together in the Sixties.
My most sincere condolences to the family of Mitch Lang...we worked together as San Francisco Airport Police officers from late 1979 until May 11, 1981 when we both joined the San Francisco Police Dept in the recruit class # 144th. He and I were both stationed at Mission Station on Valencia st. I left the dept., in 1988 but we continued to of course be friends...he called me in 1993 for a case (23102 CVC) that we had in 1981...a rather funny story...he had received a subpena for it. WOW justice doesn't stop sometimes...we slowly lost touch and I heard he had moved back east...Mitch was a really wonderful guy, a great heart and a very fine friend...I have missed his friendship over the years and as usual, meant to try to contact him...I'm 70 years old on Tuesday, 21st Nov,, so I guess I'll have to wait awhile before I can say hi...this news came as quite a shock...Gary Castel, another officer (retired) told me...he was out of the 139th I believe...he liked Mitch a lot too, as did nearly anyone...well, certainly anyone who ever GOT to know him. I will miss him more now that ever before knowing that I should have tried to contact him before this...I've learned something...My very best to all...thank you, Richard Montero
A true gentlemen, it was a honor having known and worked with Sgt. Lang. Rest in Peace Sgt.

Forever grateful for the pleasure of Mitch's company and enthusiastic conversation over the past several years. I have experienced his loving kindness and generous 'can do' spirit as a friend of his extended family. Mitch lived with great integrity and leaves this world a better place. I trust he has seen the face of God and is surrounded in everlasting peace.
My prayers and heartfelt condolences to his loving family. May your memories give you peace and comfort at this time of such great loss.
