Obituary of John C. Bonham
John C. Bonham, 82, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Jack was born in Bridgeton and was raised in Millville. He lived in Pennsylvania and Asbury Park before moving to Howell to raise his family. A US Army veteran, Jack was a manager at Newbury’s in Asbury Park prior to becoming the owner operator of Jack the Blaster Sandblasting, Howell for over 30 years. Known for his catchphrase “that’s what she said”, he loved horse racing, playing cards and hanging out at The Cabin.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Jill Bohm of Howell; son, Tom and his wife, Christine of Howell; grandsons, Christopher Bohm and his fiancée, Steph Bancroft, Zachary Bohm, Ryan Bonham, Kyle Bonham and Matthew Bohm.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
