Obituary of Angelina Barnhart
Angelina Barnhart, 75, of Howell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at CareOne in Jackson. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Franklin, NY, settling in Howell in 1957. Angie was a school bus driver for the Howell Township Board of Education for 33 years. After her retirement in 2003, she was a sales associate at T.J. Maxx. Angie’s hobbies included crocheting and participating in Bingo at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell. Known as G-Ma to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she touched the lives of all who knew her and will be missed dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Adelaide DeMarco; brother, Salvatore DeMarco; and her best friend and longtime companion, John E. Murphy, Sr. Angie is survived by her son, Scott Barnhart and his fiancée, Jennifer Tait of Deposit, NY; daughter, Theresa Killion and her husband, Ray of Jackson; grandchildren, Heather Killion and her fiancée, Brian Smolyn, Scottie Barnhart and his wife, Louise, Hannah Killion, Forrest Murphy and Sarah Murphy; great grandchildren, Allison, Scarlett and Henrik; two sisters, Rose Bebo of Wyoming and Anne Kline of Howell; stepchildren, John Murphy, Jr. and his wife, Lesa of Weatherford, TX; and Vicky Murphy of Orlando, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
